Leading Pathways provides client-based, evidence-based treatment built on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis, in order to identify individualized goals to support skill acquisition and address challenging behaviors, and support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in a variety of settings.

Leading Pathways is currently hiring aspiring and experienced Behavior Technicians who will work in a one to one setting with children and adolescents diagnosed with ASD or other Developmental Disabilities in their home, clinic, school, and/or community settings. We provide extensive hands on paid training to all employees. Therefore, it is not essential that you have prior work experience in this field, as long as you are willing to learn, we will provide you with all the training that you will need to be a successful Registered Behavior Technician. In addition, we will continue to provide you with ongoing support, supervision and training in the field.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Work with children and adolescents in various settings, helping them acquire new skills such as: communication, play skills, self-help daily living skills and more!
  • Learn directly from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) how to provide ABA therapy to children and families in need of support.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
  • Learn and implement program plans developed and supervised by a BCBA.
  • Responsible for taking data and writing objective progress notes.
  • Participate in paid company meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conduct.
  • Help children reach their highest potential through the implementation of ABA strategies and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Minimum completion of a high school degree.
  • College Degree OR you are enrolled in a BA/BS program, is preferred.
  • Registered Behaviour Technician with the BACB board is considered an asset!
  • Exposure to individuals with Autism through family, friends, or work experience is a plus!
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Background check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Must have reliable form of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
